An American preacher has been mocked online for claiming that Donald Trump is still president of the United States, and that current president Joe Biden “doesn’t exist”.
Speaking to Steve Shultz of The Elijah List, Robin D. Bullock said people saying “we need to pray for the president” can pray for Trump.
He added: “You can pray for the office of the president. You can pray for a man named Joe Biden, but you cannot pray for President Joe Biden – because there’s no such man.
“He doesn’t exist and he knows he don’t exist, and brother Steve, his handlers know he don’t exist.
“They all know that he’s not real.”
Bullock’s comments come despite Biden being confirmed as the winner of November’s election on multiple occasions.
The Electoral College voted in December to declare Biden the next president, and the US Congress confirmed Biden in his post on 6 January – the same day Trump protestors stormed the Capitol demanding the vote was overturned.
Responding to a video of the interview shared by Right Wing Watch, Twitter users poked fun at Bullock’s comments, with many comparing his appearance to that of “Old Town Road” singer Billy Ray Cyrus:
@RightWingWatch Billy Ray Cyrus has really let himself go— Brooks Case (@Brooks Case) 1613595219
@RightWingWatch I'm gonna need Great Value Evangelical Billy Ray to stop talking for his own good.— Kelly Stout (@Kelly Stout) 1613598164
Others expressed concern at how someone like Bullock could “convince themselves it’s real”:
@RightWingWatch Love how these people can just say any random thing and convince themselves it's real. It's absolutely not terrifying— Don (@Don) 1613597309
@RightWingWatch How do these people sit there with a straight face? 😐— DodgesHodge (@DodgesHodge) 1613596070
It sounds like the one thing this prophet didn’t see coming was a clear victory for Biden.
