People love it when animals do cute stuff.

It's for this exact reason that a video of Tian Tian the panda rolling about during Storm Jonas in the US has clocked up more than 50 million views since it was posted on Facebook.

The video was captured at the Smithsonian Zoo in Washington over the weekend - and it's pretty damn adorable.

Humans were also enjoying the snow that hit the east coast over the weekend.

One quick-thinking man, in the form of Jeffrey Perez, decided to claw back his own share of the likes - by recreating Tian Tian's antics in his own panda suit.

Yep, it's a grown man dressed as a panda venturing out in the snow - all in the name of Instagram fame.

It's strangely mesmerising, but also looks rather cold - and we're glad that it's him rather than us.

But top marks for effort, Jeffrey.
