Bill Nye the Science Guy is using science to shut down anti-abortion campaigners

Bill Nye the Science Guy wants everyone to stop telling women what to do with their bodies.

As Republicans in the House of Representatives push forward with their efforts to block the flow of government funding to Planned Parenthood clinics, Nye is using science to debunk anti-abortion thinking.

In a video posted to the Big Think explained that many eggs become fertilized but don't become human beings.

While pro-life campaigners would argue that life begins at conception, Nye says fertilization of an egg cannot be the standard for defining a human life.

When is comes to women's rights with respect to their reproduction, I think you should leave it to women.
