The death of David Bowie on 10 January 2016 was a sudden and decisive blow to the world of music.
In memory of the musician, Royal Mail has launched a collection of 52 David Bowie stamp sets into the sky.
They were attached to helium balloons with cameras – much like his character in the 1976 film The Man Who Fell to Earth.
After having reached 34,100 metres with a speed of 12 miles per hour, the stamps started descending at 200mph.
The best bit? You can win a historic stamp set – if you can guess where one landed.
