Was this the moment Donald Trump quietly admitted he's lost the US election?

Good morning. By now you've probably heard the news that Donald Trump had a bad debate. Great morning.

If nearly endorsing Hillary Clinton and being roundly battered by Bernie Sanders on Twitter wasn't bad enough, he appeared to admit defeat during his answer as to what is happening in Aleppo in Syria.

In a long, rambling, incoherent answer he accused Clinton of causing the war in Syria, among other blatant falsehoods.

He then continued to talk (with preposterous ignorance) about the refugee and migration crisis:

But you may very well end up with worse than Assad. If she did nothing, we'd be in much better shape. And this is what has caused the great migration where she has taken in tens of thousands of Syrian refugees who probably in many cases, not probably, who are definitely in many cases Isis-aligned. And we now have them in our country and wait until you see this is going to be the great Trojan horse.

And wait until you see what happens in the coming years. Lots of luck, Hillary. Thanks a lot for doing a great job.

Again, there's your moment:

Wait until you see what happens in the coming years. Lots of luck, Hillary.

Is that an admission that he expects to lose the election? Clearly, he feels optimistic...

In addition, his own campaign manager appeared all-but-ready to jump ship in the middle of the debate.

Kellyanne Conway appears to have agreed with a tweet by the Washington Post's political reporter Robert Costa about a slip-up, implying Conway was responsible for his few successes...

Which is very unsupportive of her candidate:

Many interpreted this as a sign that she was ready to jump ship, or that she was abdicating herself from blame toward Trump's campaign:

To be fair, Conway's already difficult job becomes a lot harder when her candidate drops in words like "bad hombres" to responses.

But for a campaign manager to publicly criticise their candidate is nearly unheard of.

Regardless, it appears Conway returned to being on-the-whole-media-democratic-process-and-public-is-against-us-message following the debate:

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Post debate polls declared Hillary Clinton the winner of the presidential debate for the third time in a row, while national polls give her a clear lead over Trump in the race.
