You’ve been eating Pringles wrong your entire life. But it’s not too late to turn it all around – literally.
The upper side, and the upper side only, is flavoured. When all the Pringles are put in their tube, the non-flavoured side is flavoured by the one on top.
That’s right – Pringles doesn’t think we could handle a double-flavoured crisp.
A spokesperson told The Sun:
Many people think that Pringles are seasoned on both sides. In fact, only the top side gets a sprinkling of seasoning in the factory.
When Pringles are stacked in their can, some of the seasoning rubs off onto the next chip – which is why they’ve always been a little uneven.
That means, as we take out a Pringle and put it in our mouths, we’re getting the stronger flavour on the roof of our mouths instead of our tongue.
But now you know. And now you can flip those Pringles like there's no tomorrow.
