If there's one thing Theresa May says more than 'Brexit means Brexit' it's the phrase "strong and stable".

She says it a lot. We counted.

There's a couple of mild, no big deal events, going on this year. One of them is the beginning of the process to remove of the UK from the European Union - and the other is a general election.

Theresa May has an interesting approach to campaigning, instead of actually answering questions or making any policy promises, she just seems to be repeating "strong and stable" government over and over again.

The soundbite has become a symbol for mockery for a number of British people.

But now it seems people across the English Channel are joining in.

Guy Verhofstadt, the ex-Belgian Prime Minster and now an MEP and leader of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Group trolled Theresa May in the most perfect way.

Verhofstadt, who's also the chief Brexit negoitator for the EU tweeted.

Any #Brexit deal requires a strong & stable understanding of the complex issues involved. The clock is ticking - it's time to get real.
