Greta Thunberg just changed her Twitter bio to hilariously mock Putin

Another day, another hugely powerful man takes it upon himself to belittle and patronise Greta Thunberg.

Following the lead of Donald Trump, Canadian MP Maxime Bernier, commentator Andrew Bolt and broadcaster Jeremy Clarkson, Vladimir Putin has now joined in on the collective bullying of Greta.

But she's having none of it. Much like she did in response to Trump's comments, Greta has changed her Twitter bio to reflect Putin's criticism.

The Russian president was chairing a session at an energy forum in Moscow when he brought up Greta's impassioned speech at the UN Summit in New York, saying he didn't "share the common excitement" about it, and that she was "poorly informed".

No one has explained to Greta that the modern world is complex and different and … people in Africa or in many Asian countries want to live at the same wealth level as in Sweden.

He continued:

I’m sure that Greta is a kind and very sincere girl. But adults must do everything not to bring teenagers and children into some extreme situations.

People were not impressed by his blatant attempt to discredit a 16-year-old activist who has already raised huge awareness to very real environmental issues.

Instead of tweeting in response, she simply changed her Twitter bio from "A very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future" (a reference to Trump's sarcastic comments about her) to "A kind but poorly informed teenager".

This is quickly becoming Greta's trademark meme and shade of choice, and people are very much here for it.
