A man tried to say something nice about his wife and created a brutal meme

It's the latest viral story and the Internet has done what is does best with it - create an unstoppable meme.

On Friday, writer and TEDx speaker, Robbie Tripp posted the following image on Instagramexplaining how much he loved his "curvy wife."

His heartfelt ode to his wife and attempt at promoting a body positive image was initially praised and shared due to its progressive message.

However, the backlash soon arrived with many pointing out that it wasn't uncommon for a man to love his wife and that special prizes shouldn't be given out to men writing that they like 'curvy' women.

As the debate wore on, more and more people found very creative and amusing ways to mock the post.
