People think that Julie Etchingham was the only real winner from the Tory leadership debate

The Tory leadership contest only started last month but it already feels like it has been going on for an eternity, and there's still a few more weeks to go before we find out who the next prime minister is.

Last night we got a closer look at who the next elected leader of the UK will be as Jeremy Hunt and Boris Johnson engaged in a debate on ITV, which was about as helpful and insightful as the last three years of British politics.

The two MPs traded blows over the usual subjects such as Brexit, Trump, taxes, immigration and contentious things that the other one had said in the past. When it was all said and done, it was hard to tell who was the actual winner.

If you were to ask the viewers at home, we would bet that a large chunk would say that host Julie Etchingham was the only person who came out the debate with her head held high.

The 49-year-old host did well to hold her nerve and not get bossed around by the two Tories, who weren't exactly on their best behaviour in front of the TV cameras.

Etchingham did so well that some people declared that they would rather vote for her and that she would probably win in a fight between the three of them.

Even people like Piers Morgan and Julie Hartley-Brewer, who usually hate everything, thought that she did a good job.

When it was all said and done, she really was the only thing worth talking about, especially her poignant raised eyebrow which said everything that you need to know.
