Kendall Jenner faces backlash for hosting 'irresponsible' Halloween birthday party with 100 guests

While most people celebrated a more low-key Halloween from the comfort of their home, one celebrity seemed to forget that there’s a pandemic going on right now.

Kendall Jenner is facing backlash after celebrating her 25th birthday with a lavish, mask-less Halloween party.

Justin and Hailey Bieber, The Weeknd and Doja Cat were among the reported 100 people in attendance.

While guests were tested on entry, there were no social distancing precautions. Attendees were also asked to not post photos on “social media of any kind”.

But clearly those warnings were ignored because the party was all over Kylie Jenner’s Instagram.

One particularly disturbing post sees Jenner blow out the candles on her cake next to a masked waiter. The water droplets!

People are calling out Jenner and the celebrities in attendance for being so flagrantly ignorant of the virus while coronavirus cases continue to rapidly rise in the US.

People also pointed out how celebrities have easy access to rapid testing, while everyone else isn’t so privileged.

Jenner’s party also comes after Kim Kardashian hosted her birthday party on a private island. Looks like it runs in the family.

Remember, not even Halloween is worth ignoring the rules.
