Madame Tussauds remove Harry and Meghan waxworks from royal family display

It's been an eventful week for the British royal family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex essentially announced that they'd *had it* with their fam and most of the British press, saying in a statement that they would be "stepping back" as "senior royals". Buckingham Palace appeared to play down the claims, and reports suggest they're "hurt" and disappointed. Yeesh.

Now things have been taken a step further by *checks notes* a waxwork museum.

Yes, that's right, video evidence shows the world famous waxwork emporium moving the Harry and Meghan statues away from their family members. They statues of the couple are still on display, but they've been moved away to create some distance. Symbolic or what?

It's still not clear exactly what lies in store for the royals as they navigate this turbulent period of public life.

But one thing's for sure: don't mess with Madame Tussauds.
