Michael Bloomberg didn’t hold back in a scathing attack on both Bernie Sanders and President Donald Trump.

It came about after Bernie listed all of the reasons why Bloomberg could not "create the energy and excitement to defeat Donald Trump".

He listed reasons like Bloomberg’s mayoral history on the "stop and frisk" policy, a past statement about not wanting to raise the minimum wage and opposing raising taxes on the wealthy.

Bloomberg then came for Bernie Bros in a video, where he posted screenshots of Sander supporters saying offensive and abusive things about other candidates and their supporters.

A day later, Bloomberg’s campaign manager Kevin Sheekey then released a statement responding to "baseless charges espoused online, in print and on TV" from Bernie Sanders.

It’s a shameful turn of events to see Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump deploy the very same attacks and tactics against Mike, but the reason is clear. At this point, the primary is Bernie’s to lose, and ours to win. Bernie knows this. Trump knows this. That’s why they are united in the campaign against Mike.

Then came Bernie’s simple, yet effective clap back.

The 78-year-old United States senator posted a photo of Bloomberg and Trump playing golf together.

And it's not the only photo of the billionaire duo going around...

Just a few hours later, Bernie wrote this not-so-subtle subtweet about billionaires:

The primary elections for the Democratic nominee are taking place between February and June this year, and Sanders is currently in the lead, while self-funded billionnaire Bloomberg hopes his huge ad budget will win him votes on Super Tuesday.
