In possibly the most unlikely news of the day, Monica Lewinsky has been granted the honour of a strain of marijuana taking her name.

Yes, the activist, television personality and former White House intern has been honoured by a cannabis company in Washington-state.

The company named Sugarleaf named their new batch after the 44-year-old. It clearly caught her attention.

Her tweet attracted some very enthusiastic responses.

According to the Marijuana resource website Lemonhaze 14 grams of "Monica Lewinsky" will set you back $104 yet the product isn't available on the Sugarleaf at the time of writing.

A tweet that Sugarleaf posted in October shows the formula the used to come up with the moniker.

What a world in which we live.
