Led By Donkeys, the anti-Brexit activist group has outrageously purchased the Brexit Party's website and in an ironic twist Nigel Farage is trying to get it back by using EU laws.

If you head over to the 'thebrexitparty.com' you'll find that it is not a party for Farage's newly formed party that is intent on leaving the EU but a single page telling the Brexiteer just how much it will cost him to get it back.

The official Brexit Party website exists over at thebrexitparty.org and they want their dot com address back but it isn't going to be cheap.

At the time of writing the cost to buy the website domain from Led By Donkeys is just over a million pounds, a figure that is increasing by a penny every second and should Farage cough up the money, the cash will go directly to the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants.

Since the realisation that their party's page domain has been 'hijacked', the Brexit Party have consulted the corporate lawyers Wedlake Bell who are unironically using EU laws in a bid to retrieve the web address.

They claim that the Brexit Party logo and design are protected under several European Union design laws, which is ironic as this is the very institution that they object to so vehemently.

With this in mind, people have been ruthlessly mocking Farage on Twitter for being a hypocrite.

Elsewhere, on the alternative Brexit Party website, Led By Donkeys have turned it into a 'Tory-Brexit Party electoral alliance advent calendar' which will open a new door each day to "lies lunacy and hypocrisy from the Brexit Party and their new electoral allies, the Conservatives".
