When you were a child, what is that you wanted (besides your Hogwarts letter)?

Sweets, that's what: a mountain of sugary goodness just for you.

Roald Dahl obliged by creating the world of Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Skip ahead a few years and we were blessed with Wreck-It Ralph's colourful wonderland, the world of Sugar Crush:

Australian-based artist Tanya Schutz, who goes by Pip&Pop has taken it a step further.

She's brought our dreams to life - with pastel colours, fairytale aesthetic and 1,000 pounds (454kg)of sugar:

The Perth-based artist created an art installation of four islands, fondly named When Happiness Ruled, made with over 100 different powdery colours, clay, glitter, plastic flowers and crystals. And the sugar.

Look at it

Glorious

Don't lie - you want to take a bite out of this

Schutz told The Creator’s Project:

I hope I’ve made an optimistic work that transports viewers to another world, a kind of psychedelic paradise.

If the sheer beauty is making you weep, don't worry.

You're not the only one.
