8 of the most British reactions to the Swansea earthquake

You may not have noticed, but there was an earthquake in the UK on Saturday afternoon.

The epicentre of the quake was in Swansea of all places and registered at 4.4 on the Richter scale.

In terms of tremors, this is relatively small - but the shock wave was felt across most of south-west England and as far away as the Isle of Wright.

Thankfully, there were no reports of any major damage or injuries, despite it being the largest to hit the area since 1906.

That being said, reports of the catastrophe began flooding Twitter and the evidence was truly shocking.

A t-shirt has already been made to commemorate the event. May we never forget.

Of course, there was a joke to be made about Brexit.

The winners have to be this pair who recreated something akin to a Hollywood blockbuster.
