She posted a series of selfies with her new boyfriend on Facebook.
... which her parents Nancy and Craig then flawlessly recreated:
Emily tweeted these pictures under the caption "my parents r actually on drugs or something" and has now been retweeted almost 50,000 times.
She told i100.co.uk she thought the pictures were funny but she "didn't realise everyone else would think it was":
I think it's funny to me because my mom is very outgoing and outspoken and my dad is quiet and she got him to participate!
The best part is that Emily's boyfriend hasn't even met her parents yet. Godspeed.
