Golden Globes 2019: Richard Madden wins Best Actor in a TV Drama for The Bodyguard

The winners of this year’s Golden Globes ceremony have been announced.

The 76th Golden Globes ceremony was hosted by Killing Eve star Sandra Oh and Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Andy Samberg, whose quips led to a whitewashing apology from Emma Stone.

Guest presenters throughout the ceremony included Chadwick Boseman, Jessica Chastain, Jamie Lee Curtis and Harrison Ford while US television legend Carol Burnett became the first recipient of a brand new special achievement award for the small screen.

The evening, designed to award the best in film and television, saw wins for Green Book, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel and Bohemian Rhapsody, which was the unexpected recipient of the ceremony’s biggest award.
