For many of us, Game of Thrones ended a long time ago and the finale was a bit of a damp squib, to say the least.

However, it still appears to be somewhat alive in the digital realm of WhatsApp, as many of the cast are still talking to each other and sharing jokes in a group chat.

In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who played Jamie Lannister on the show revealed that everyone who has been on the show is a part of a WhatsApp group together.

Obviously, since the show ended the group has been a bit quiet but according to the star, the group has sprung into life again as they are all due to attend the Emmy awards.

Coster-Waldau revealed that the most prominent poster in the group is Alfie Allen, better known to audiences as Theon Greyjoy, who goes as far as to compose songs for people, which is fun if not slightly creepy.

He added that the biggest emoji users are Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) and Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister). Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) is a bit more reserved and usually just posts a thumbs up.

You can watch the full interview in the video below (the WhatsApp chat starts around 6 mins 50 seconds).
