It's been days and people are still trying to get over the images that they saw in the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame.
The sombre preview gave us a glimpse of our heroes in the aftermath of their loss to Thanos in Infinity War and it was distressing, to say the least.
Not only does Captain America no longer have a beard but Tony Stark is adrift in space and is running out of food and oxygen.
Talking to his badly damaged Iron Man helmet, Stark records a message for Pepper Potts back on Earth, who is probably worried sick about him.
Dear Miss Potts, if you find this recording don’t feel bad about this, part of the journey is the end.
Just for the record being adrift in space with zero promise of rescue is more fun than it sounds.
Food and water ran out four days ago, oxygen will run out tomorrow morning and I mean it, when I drift off I will dream about you, it’s always you.
All in all, it doesn't look very good for the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist as he slowly sails off into deep space on board the ship formerly belonging to the Guardians of the Galaxy.
It's not clear if Stark is alone or if Nebula is on board with him, but even if that is the case, neither look to be in a fit enough state to be flying the vessel back to Earth.
We will have to wait until April to find out how Stark will be rescued (he will be rescued, right?) but in the meantime, Marvel fans have started a trend of pleading to Nasa to actually go a retrieve Iron Man from oblivion.
If Nasa can't help, then maybe Elon Musk and SpaceX can?
The Indian Space Research Organisation? Anyone, please?
Others think that a comet that is due to pass by Earth soon might actually be Mr. Stark.
There are even memes of the meme.
We can only imagine that the name 'Marvel' and 'Tony Stark' is being cursed in the Nasa social media office right now.
