In light of today’s release of Taylor Swift’s Fearless (Taylor’s Version), Swifties are giving out tips on how to never hear the original ever again on Spotfiy.

In case you missed it, Swift is re-recording her entire masters because of a legal dispute with her old management Scott Borchetta and superstar music manager Scooter Braun, whose clients include Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen and Demi Lovato. Fearless was re-released today.

Her army of fans are now dishing out tips on how to eradicate the 2009 version from ever popping up in your music library. It isn’t rocket science, but is a little time consuming.

Basically, if you go into your account, search for her music, click on the three dots next to the song title and select the second option down, which is “hide this song”, it will prevent it from popping up in any playlist or radio station you create or listen to.

Swift fans are nothing but an efficient collective, who probably could solve any crisis or topple any power structure they put their mind to.

The re-release of her sophomore album is a hotly anticipated drop as she has been teasing it for a little while after the legal dispute over the rights to her masters. In February, she shared the new version of her classic hit Love Story.

The updated album includes six previously unheard songs, two of which she teased before today; You All Over Me featuring Maren Morris and Mr Perfectly Fine, a break up song so good that Sophie Turner – the wife of Joe Jonas, who it is about – loves it.
