10 of the world's most endangered species

As the global appetite for resources pushes even more species to the verge of extinction, the International Union for Conservation of Nature has compiled a list of 22,000 endangered species. Here are 10 of them:

Chinese Pufferfish

Yangtze Finless Porpoise

Kaputar Pink Slug (New South Wales, Australia)

Chinese Cobra

Giant Kokopu (New Zealand fish)

Sumatran Elephant

Bombus fraternus (North American bumblebee)

Hawskbill Sea Turtle

South China Tiger

American Eel
