Tl;dr version - No

An image of what looks like a screengrab from a website selling a "sexy Ebola nurse" outfit ahead of Halloween has been shared extensively on Reddit and Twitter this weekend.

Apart from the abhorrent idea that someone would want to try to sexualise a medical suit that has been used to treat the 10,000 people infected by an outbreak of the deadly disease, the picture also appears to be a fake.

The costume in the featured image actually surfaced last Halloween and was originally sold as a "sexy" version of suit that Breaking Bad character Walter White wears when cooking up crystal meth.

So, the "sexy Ebola nurse" is probably, thankfully just someone on the internet attempting to provoke outrage - which they appear to have done.

But perhaps it also serves to highlight the bizarre tradition of creating a range of "sexy" costumes which appears to be growing with each passing Halloween.
