Still not over the disappointment of BoatyMcBoatface, the ship name that never was?

Well thanks to British Airways and Team GB all your unusually-monikered-transportation-vessel-based wishes have come true.

The British Olympic team asked Twitter users to name the plane that would be bringing the country's Olympics and Paralympics teams back from Rio - and predictably the poll hasn’t quite gone to plan.

BA helpfully supplied some options for people to choose from...

Some stuck to the script...

But, it wasn’t long before die-hard BoatyMcBoatface fans got involved and PlaneyMcPlaneface was born...

Will PlaneyMcPlaneface be victorious? We know which name has our vote. British Airways, do the right thing.
