People are now voting for Nigel Farage as Rear of the Year

It has been a memorable week for Nigel Farage. First he was named by the Times newspaper as its Briton of the Year, and now it appears people are putting him forward for Rear of the Year.

The light-hearted competition is held annually to acknowledge the Briton with the best backside.

In the case of the Ukip leader it may be more a case that some people consider him to be a bit of an arse.

Despite Carol Vorderman and Olly Murs already being awarded the prize, several Twitter users have started the campaign as a reaction to Farage's honour from the Times. Maybe he'll win it in 2015...
