With the EU referendum all but upon us, immigration has been at the forefront of the national debate.

But while there has been much scaremongering from news outlets and bungled statistics from campaigners, few are talking about the impact of our own immigrants abroad.

A Twitter account called Holiday Complaints tweets the most outrageous (and apparently genuine) tourist complaints out there.

And Britons, it's not pretty.

No pre-holiday pint? Outrageous

Germans speaking German in Germany. How very dare you

Holiday- makers and bothersome noise

Britons expect good tea everywhere, didn’t you know?

And British Biscuits for Proper British Tea

And a Proper Full English

Waiters. Too. Nice. Must. Tip.

Every hotel must be equipped with egg-slicers. Obviously.

We rather thought they had been exaggerating about the flight time...

Bloody Americans...

Bang out of order

What is this "nature" you speak of?

I'd rather not be reminded of my privilege, thank you very much

What is this madness?

If we're to follow etiquette, provide adequate compensation

The state of us: it's a wonder they open their borders to tourists at all.
