International demand for wine has been outstripping supply for years, and if you want to point the finger of blame at any of our European neighbours, here's a handy guide to who drinks the most.

Who would have thought that Swedes would drink more wine than us Brits? Hic.

A note on methodology: The map's creator extrapolated wine consumption per capita from World Health Organisation data on total alcohol consumption.
