Tony Blair backed Remain, and then the inevitable happened

Tony Blair, the ever-popular former Labour prime minister who led the UK into Iraq, has declared which way he voted in the EU referendum.

Unsurprisingly, he voted to 'Remain'.

However, he made the error of announcing this on Twitter with a piece of white card.

The sound that immediately followed the whistle of the tweet being sent, was a thousand Photoshop users firing up computers to produce their best and brightest efforts.

We imagine Tony's reaction was to vow never to hold up a piece of card again.
