Single mum and café worker Siobhan Thornton was feeling down about her weight after giving birth to her daughter and splitting with her partner - but an cheap and cheerful addition to her diet changed things.
She was struggling to get into a size 22 (after previously being around a size 16) and was close to being diabetic. Thornton was around 17 stone after welcoming her daughter into the world, she also lived on junk food.
But a little change to her dialy diet reportedly helped her turn that around.
Thornton started drinking at least two cups of green tea every day – and says that it's help her lose more than eight stone.
I used to avoid looking at myself - now my confidence is through the roof and I've halved my BMI.
I am certain that I lost the first three stone through drinking green tea alone.
My metabolism just went through the roof and I hadn't done much else.
Thornton says she wasn’t even doing any more exercise than normal to help boost her weightloss. She adds that green tea is “so underrated” – not to mention relatively affordable.
Now, Thornton is still drinking her green tea, weight around 9 stone, and goes to the gym three times a week.
She looks and feels a lot better about herself, and has also reinstalled Tindr.
