Ahead of England's big World Cup game with Belgium on Thursday evening, Theresa May was in Brussels for a crucial Brexit meeting.
There the Conservative Prime Minister met her Belgian equivalent, Charles Michel and the two exchanged pleasantries.
As they were conversing and obviously with football on the brain, Michel presented May with a Belgium national team football shirt with a player's name printed on the back.
Who would it be? Lukaku? De Bruyne? Mertens? Kompany? No. It was Chelsea dynamo Eden Hazard who just happens to play in the number 10 shirt.
There's a joke in there.
At first, this subtle joke might go over anyone's head but think about it 'Hazard. Number 10.'
Ouch...not exactly the endorsement that the beleaguered PM needed especially as she attempts to steady her own party and the Brexit negotiations, which are looking more and more precarious.
Images of May being presented with the red shirt soon went viral on social media and everyone inevitably make the same joke.
She seemed to take it in good spirits but she was probably seething once the penny dropped.
