The UK's new foreign secretary Boris Johnson will be keeping a close eye on events in Turkey right now.
On Friday night an attempted coup to oust president Recep Erdoğan left more than 161 people dead.
With such a tentative situation still going on, others are remembering a poem penned by Johnson that won him £1,000 in a Spectator magazine poetry competition.
The publication, of which Johnson used to be the editor, asked readers to write the most offensive poem they could about President Erdoğan.
Johnson's, a limerick, goes like this:
There was a young fellow from Ankara
Who was a terrific wankerer
Till he sowed his wild oats
With the help of a goat
But he didn’t even stop to thankera.
