In case you missed it Republican presidential hopeful Donald J. Trump called fellow Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz an 'anchor baby' during a campaign rally in Nashua, New Hampshire on Friday.

The derogatory term is used to refer to illegal immigrants whose children automatically gain US citizenship after being born on American soil.

FYI Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada, to a Cuban father and American mother.

Both were living legally in the country.

He is an American citizen by birth.

He renounced his Canadian citizenship in 2014.

He is an American.

Even so, Trump is not letting facts stand in his way and has since branded Cruz Canada Ted...

... much to the delight of his Trumpeters.
