Donald Trump's Christmas message is here and no one knows what to make of it

He was Time's person of the year for 2016 and could probably claim to be the most divisive man in American politics.

So what does Donald Trump say to unify the country following a particularly bitter election and ahead of his approaching inauguration?

A pretty run-of-the-mill message if we're honest.

Notable is the use of "Merry Christmas" after Donald complained no one could say it anymore (despite the message appearing on the Obama's card for years).

Also worth mentioning is the prominent small and tightly clenched fist.

Of course, people don't really know what to make of it.

Some are bitter.

Some are fearful.

Others merely express disapproval.

Others are making light of one particular detail.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
