Jeremy Hunt tweeted about junior doctors and almost certainly won't want to check his notifications

Jeremy Hunt provoked the ire of junior doctors again on Thursday by taking the decision to impose a controversial new contract, despite widespread condemnation.

The contract, which considers Saturday a normal working day, has been the subject of months of negotiation and industrial action, and now will be imposed upon junior doctors in August.

Hunt told parliament on Thursday that he would impose the conditions at the end of a day of industrial action across the country and then tweeted the online text version the statement later that evening...

...and received a torrent of abuse in response:
