This years Pride theme is Jubilee, marking 50-years since the Stonewall riots and celebrating half a century of LGBT+ activism around the world.

It honours the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan, commonly seen as a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States.

Around the world though, there will be multiple other Parades and celebrations; including London where celebrations are in full swing.

So lets commemmorate the importance of Pride by looking over some images of marches and protests of the past:

1. Paris, 25 June 1977
