These are the happiest universities in Britain

Students at Bath University are the happiest in the UK, a comprehensive survey of students has found.

The Times Higher Education Survey asked 14,700 students to rank their universities on 21 categories, to give a final score out 100.

Overall, students are less happy compared to the previous year, with an average score of 74.7, against 75.5 in the last survey.

2. Loughborough (83.3)

3. Sheffield (83.1)

4. Cambridge (82.9)

5. Oxford (82.7)

8. Exeter (82)

9. Leeds (81.9)

10. Newcastle (81.6)

Note: The top ranked Scottish university was Dundee (12) and Cardiff (29) in Wales.
