President Donald Trump was no stranger to allegations of racism during his campaign and his travel ban, often referred to as a 'Muslim ban', has only stoked the accusations of prejudice from the left.
Actor and comedian Don Cheadle recently accused the US president of a uttering a "racist, misogynist" slur.
Neither the White House or Cheandle responded to a request for comment from The Independent, but this isn’t the first time accusations of this kind have been levelled against Mr Trump.
On Twitter this week, Trump supporter David Kirkland stated that there was no evidence of Trump having made racist comments in the past:
And issued the following challenge:
I’ll give you $100 (£81) per racist statement you show me that Trump made.
Which, it turned out, wasn't the best idea.
Kirkland refused the proof with the following statement:
