Think your family has skeletons in the closet?

At least you're not a royal.

Amidst the glee and anticipation following the announcement that 19 May 2018 will be the day of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, one Twitter user pointed out an equally interesting and disturbing fact.

Yup, Prince Harry's ancestor King Henry VIII executed his second wife on exactly the same date as the upcoming wedding, almost 500 years ago.

And it gets even more fascinating: Prince Harry's name is actually Henry. Draw from that what you will.

This revelation comes after Twitter's collective realisation that two British institutions - royalty and football - will clash next May, as the royal wedding is set for the same day as the FA Cup final.

Hopefully, Prince William, who is President of the FA, won't struggle too much to make a choice between family and football.
