Gal Gadot didn't let the DC/Marvel rivalry get in the way of paying tribute to Brie Larson

Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman is the creation of Worlds of DC- natural rivals with Stan Lee’s Marvel comics, but that hasn’t stopped her from congratulating her fellow superhero.

The Wonder Woman actress paid a lovely tribute to Brie in an Instagram post, rubbishing the long-held stereotype that women can only be competitive with one another. In fact, her message was a wonderful show of solidarity and support.

Sharing a cute cartoon drawing of Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel with linked arms engaged in a giggle, she tagged Brie Larson and wrote:

I’m so happy for you sister! congrats.

She’s probably referring to Captain Marvel’s shocking statistics. The feature grossed some $456million at the global box office after less than a week on release.

Whoa!

Gadot isn’t the only one to have celebrated Brie’s success.

Anne Hathaway, who played Catwoman in Christopher Nola’s trilogy The Dark Night Rises, sent her support to Brie as well.

The Captain Marvel actress shared a Mae Jemison quote on her Instagram:

Don’t let anyone rob you of your imagination, your creativity, or your curiosity. It’s you place in the world. It’s your life. Go on and do all you can with it, and make it

Anne Hathaway had responded:

You know what I love most about @captainmarvelofficial (among all the thing I loved about Captain Marvel) Seeing YOU up there. So impressed and proud, sis. You did it! Now go get Thanos!

I'm not tearing up. You are.
