TK Maxx is the friendliest company to work for in Britain, according to a new data analysis.
Career website Glassdoor examined 25,000 employee testimonials dating back to June 2008 and counted how many included the word 'friend' (in a 'friendly' context) in the pro section of working for their company.
By this measure, 26 per cent of people at TX Maxx mentioned 'friendship' as a plus-point about working there.
1 TK Maxx (26 per cent)
2 WH Smith (25 per cent)
3 Debenhams (20 per cent)
4 Boots (20 per cent)
5 Asda (19 per cent)
6 Greggs (19 per cent)
7 Primark (19 per cent)
8 Morrisons (17 per cent)
9 River Island (17 per cent)
10 Sainsbury's (16 per cent)
High street firms dominate the list, but there are no employers in the finance, tech or manufacturing sectors. Or media. Oh well.
