Cristiano Ronaldo arranged a human conveyor belt of selfies at his film premiere

Cristiano Ronaldo attended the premiere of the intimate/self-indulgent biopic Ronaldo in London on Monday night.

After posing with his former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson on the red carpet, the Real Madrid forward attempted to break a selfie world record in three minutes - currently held by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

As cries of "get in there, get in there" frantically rang out, a horde of fans ran into Ronaldo's embrace and momentarily paused for a photograph next to the perma-grinned footballer before being ushered out of the way by a security guard.

It's currently unclear if Ronaldo managed to break the record. More on this when we have it.
