Brexiteer claims Liz Truss is 'committed to freedom' because she named her child Liberty

Tom Harwood is at it again.

The Brexit campaigner has a habit of taking to Twitter and getting himself into all kinds of cringe-worthy situations.

This time, what appears to be a genuine attempt to make a joke seems to have backfired badly.

Harwood joked that Truss is so committed to “freedom” that she chose to name her first child Liberty. Who says right-wingers can’t do humour?!
