This is who British men and women have affairs with

One in five British adults has confessed to having an affair while 33 per cent of us have thought about it, according to YouGov research.

A survey of 1,660 adults by the pollsters reveals men are more likely to have an affair with a partner's relative, while women are more likely to have an affair with a friend.

As for the motivation behind infidelity? Of the respondents who confessed to having an affair, 40 per cent said they were flattered by the attention, while 15 per cent enjoyed the thrill and 23 per cent said they felt dissatisfied with their sex life.
