Meghan Markle passed the most important test when she visited Buckingham Palace

Meghan Markle won over the people of Britain (or at least British twitter) with ease.

But in the frenzied excitement over her engagement to Prince Harry, everyone forgot to check whether she had gained the most essential seal of approval; from the Queen's corgis...

The couple revealed during an interview with ABC that the notoriously fussy dogs took to the American actress straight away.

Prince Harry said in the interview:

For the last 33 years being barked at, this one walks in and absolutely nothing!

Sounding pretty chill about the whole thing - including, you know, having tea with the Queen - Markle said the dogs were:

Laying on my feet during tea, it was very sweet.

Perhaps her ease with the corgis shouldn't be a surprise, as her love for her dogs Bogart and Guy is Instagram famous.
