Someone tried to sneak a picture of Naomi Watts, but she got the ultimate revenge

In May 2016, the actor and producer Naomi Watts was photographed as she minded her own business on public transport.

Rather than shouting at the photographer, whose Instagram handle is aubreylofgren, Watts responded in the best way possible.

Aubreylofgren is a photographer by trade, and was visiting New York when she saw the Oscar nominee riding the Train.

Not only did Watts reply, but it turned out she'd caught Aubrey in the act.

The exchange went relatively unreported until Monday, when users on Twitter made the link between the two photos.

Aubrey confessed at the time: "Busted".
