Daniel Radcliffe calls out NFL star Tom Brady over MAGA hat and Trump support

Daniel Radcliffe calls out NFL star Tom Brady over MAGA hat and Trump support

The first unlikely celebrity beef of 2019 is… Daniel Radcliffe and the NFL’s Tom Brady.

The Harry Potter star took a swipe at the New England Patriots quarterback over his support for his “friend” Donald Trump.

When Radcliffe was asked who he was supporting in this year’s Super Bowl, he told Variety he was rooting for the Los Angeles Rams.

He explained why:

The whole world is rooting against the Patriots ... sorry.

He [Brady] should stop winning things. Take that MAGA hat out of your locker!

In 2015, a “Make America Great Again” hat was seen in Brady’s locker and the NFL legend has repeatedly refused to criticise the president since then.

You might be wondering why Harry Potter has such a strong opinion on the American Football star, but it’s actually not as a random as it first sounds.

Radcliffe is a big NFL fan – so big, he could name nearly every starting quarterback in 2014.

Radcliffe’s comment got a pretty negative response from Trump supporters and Patriots fans.

But everyone else seemed into it.

Now we need Daniel to wade in on whether Tom Brady is a Slytherin.

While we wait for that to happen, the Patriots will take on the Rams in Super Bowl LIII on Sunday.

And yes, if you're neutral, you have to root for the Rams.

We don’t make the rules, sorry.
