Here's what Ukip has to say about the Polish prince who challenged Nigel Farage to a duel

Ukip has responded to a Polish prince who challenged Nigel Farage to a duel.

Yanek Zylinski made the offer in a YouTube video posted on Saturday, in response to what he said was Farage's discrimination against eastern European migrants.

"I'd like us to meet in Hyde Park one morning with our swords and resolve this matter in a way that an 18th Century Polish aristocrat and an English gentleman would traditionally do," he said. "Are you up for it, Mr Farage?"

In response, a spokesperson for Ukip told i100.co.uk:

Nigel doesn't have a sword. And he's trying to keep violence out of this election campaign. He's surprised that a Polish prince with his lineage is not more concerned about Poland losing many of its best and brightest young people and now suffering from depopulation.
