All the times The Simpsons made fun of Rupert Murdoch and Fox

Rupert Murdoch has announced that he is stepping down as CEO of 21st Century Fox.

The 84-year-old majority shareholder said on Thursday that he will retire from his role at the head of the media giant, leaving the company in the hands of his son James, a sign that the Murdoch family is preparing to let the next generation take over.

Despite being owned by the Australian-American tycoon, it's become a longstanding tradition for Fox-owned The Simpsons to poke fun at Murdoch and all the other stuff he owns.

Such as when Mr Burns said it would be impossible to control all the media...

Family Guy, which is also owned by 21st Century Fox, went one better than The Simpsons: in one episode Lois actually becomes a Fox News reporter.
