Harry Styles launches celebrity beauty brand with incredible photoshoot and fans are beside themselves

Harry Styles has launched his own beauty brand, and it’s safe to assume the news was very pleasing to his fans.

Known for pushing the boundaries with his avant-garde style, fans were beside themselves after seeing Styles sporting corsets, flares, polka dot tights – and even a top hat – as he discussed his new line with Dazed as their Winter 2021 cover star.

The 27-year-old’s new venture is called Pleasing and sells a £50 nail polish set with four nail varnishes (or £16 each) - in the shades: Perfect Pearl, Pearl Tops, Inky Pearl, and Granny’s Pink Pearl.

This move comes as no surprise since painted nails are something is Styles regularly spotted with and he told Dazed how painting his nails started off the journey for the brand.

“It’s starting with nail polish, because that was kind of the birth of what it was for,” the Watermelon Sugar singer explained. “Me seeing a colour on a flower or a wallpaper or something and thinking, ‘Oh, I wanna put that on my nails.’ It was a fun little project, but during the pandemic, and when we eventually named it Pleasing, it felt like it was so much more than nail polish.”

The Pleasing Pen and Pearlescent Illuminating Serum are also part of the Pleasing line which are priced at (£23 and £27 respectively).

Styles revealed what the meaning is behind his brand: “I really think that the essence of Pleasing is finding those little moments of joy and showing them to people.”

During the discussion, Styles also told the publication that he doesn’t necessarily associate beauty with “looking good.”

“I don’t think being beautiful or feeling beautiful is about looking good,’ he added. ‘When people are happy and glowing, they’re radiating. And that’s what I think the products do, it’s about helping you feel beautiful.”

So when does Styles feel most beautiful himself?

“When do I feel my most beautiful? I would say internally, when I’ve finished meditating or something. Or maybe when I’m asleep,” he said.

From standing poised in a white corset, to showing flair in a top hat and quilted gown, as well as posing on a motorcycle in a cut-out top, fans of the singer were delighted with the photos from the cover shoot.

After hearing the news about Styles releasing a beauty line, many fans were more than happy to fork out the money for his products.

While others noted how productive Styles has been this year - he’s currently on the American leg of his Love on Tour series of shows and recently made a cameo in the latest Marvel movie Eternals as Thanos’ brother Eros.

Elsewhere, there was one particular look that fans were talking about – a huge green oversized Jean Paul Gautier wooly ensemble which reminded people of a certain someone who stole Christmas... the Grinch.
